And all is well!  I guess I say that every week, but honestly I have no compliaints!  My pregnancy has been so uneventful (thankfully) and I am really enjoying it!  No weight gain to report this week, as I forgot to weigh myself this a.m. and I have eaten today, so my weight would not be accurate!  I would guesstimate two pounds though!

I had a little fall this morning, which was a little scary, but there was no one around so it was not as embarassing as it could have been!  When I got to work I had left my cardkey on my desk, so I came around the front of the building and slipped on the front steps.  (Not my first fall of this pregnancy) but all is well.  Felt her kicking within and hour, and I did call and let my doctor know.

I can not believe next week I will officially enter the third trimester!  It's still very surreal!

No weight gain to report for this past week.  I have been under the weather.  Darren brought home a nasty cold/flu from his trip to Las Vegas and was kind enough to share with me!  I was bed-ridden Sunday and Monday (thank goodness it was a holiday).  I am still quite congested, coughing, aching, etc. but functioning!  I can only hope at this point that Prestin does not catch it.  Our entire county school system was closed on Friday, due to illness, so something is going around!

Camryn has been moving less the past couple of days - but enough to let me know she is there!  I am sure Mommy is keeping her up all hours of the night (and day) with the coughing fits!  She is most active around bedtime, when I first lay down.  I get a few kicks throughout the day - when I think she is stretching out! 

All is well!

I can not believe I am 6 months pregnant!  How incredible is that??  It's just still hard to believe, although at this point it's visible to all, even those who don't know me!  Still feeling well, for the most part.  Sleeping has been my only issue.  I sleep well until about 3am, and that's it.  I pretty much toss and turn until the alarm goes off.  It does not seem to bother me too much, just more frustration than anything, and some crankines at times - I think Darren and Prestin would agree!

Big Grandma dies on Sunday and her funeral is today in Connecticut.  As much as I would have liked to be there, the timing was not good.  It would have been VERY expensive to fly, not to mention I am almost scared to fly - just out of fear of messing with my pregnancy!  I am sure things would have been fine, but I was not ready to risk it.  Anyhow, she lived a wonderful 98 years and will reunited in heaven with her husband, who died on Valentine's day 10 years ago.  Married for 66 years.  Amazing! 

All is well, otherwise.  We are getting ready to spring into the baseball season, with practices starting on Saturday.  We will certainly keep busy for the next few months!

Another uneventfu appointment.  I have gained 4.5 pounds since my last visit, which is an average of a pound a week!  Urine sample was fine as well as blood pressure.  Baby's heart rate was good, measuring approximately 150 BPM.  We talked about the swelling in my hands in feet, which is not abnormal, and is certainly minimla at this point.  Uncomfortable at times, but nothing to worry about.  I am measuring 24 weeks along, and I am abourt 23.5, so all looks good!

Next appointment is in four weeks, and I will have the one hour GD (gestational dibetes) test done then.
