I can not believe that in 5 days we will know whether I am carrying a girl or a boy. So far the majority has guessed (or wished) for a girl! I have my first real baby dream, and it was a girl, so we'll see!
I am fighting a sinus infection this week, although I was able to get in and see my PCP and get some antibiotics, so hopefully I will get some relief from the pressure in my ears soon enough!
The scale is showing no weight gain this week, as a matter of fact it reflects some weight loss. Not sure what that's all about, but I am sure if I weigh myself after lunch things will show differently! I guess I am officially showing now, as I have gotten comments from strangers! The belly grows on...

18 Weeks
And all is well. We are anxious for our BIG appointment on the 14th, as we will have to decide on a name and get the nursery done! The room has been emoptied, so it is awaiting the new paint! We have narrowed down our names - so it will (most likely) be Camryn Lee for a girl and Mason Mark for a boy. That's this weeks decision anyhow!
Other than that, we wnjoyed Christmas and New Years, playing board games and cards at a neighbor's. Did not make it to midnight, but I never expected to! I am having trouble sleeping through the night, but no problem falling asleep!

17 Weeks
Not much to report today - no good news anyhow.
My first fur-baby, Frisky, passed on this morning. She was 19 years old, and lived a great, happy life. As sad as I am, I am glad that she did not suffer and went peacefully. I spent an hour holding her last night as she purred. She will be greatly missed.
2007-12-17 (15 weeks)
Second OB Appointment My appointment this a.m went well. Not much to report. I gained a pound since my last visit (according to her scale), blood pressure and urine were fine. She went over the results of my NT scan (the bloodwork) and just stated that everything was within normal limits. I did not ask for numbers/percentage rates as I do not need the added stress, so as long as everything looks good on paper, I am okay with that. She was able to pick up the heartbeat on her doppler within a second (in the low 150's). She had my blood drawn for whatever reason, I think just basic prenatal bloodwork. My next appt. is January 14, which is also the day I have been scheduled for my BIG u/s! (Hopefully, gender will be determined then!)
I am psyched for my day off of work tomorrow! I have to drop off donuts for Prestin's class in the morning, as the second grade Christmas party is tomorrow morning. I also have to get the Santa shopping done and get the house cleaned up for the guests coming in on Thursday night. I also have Friday off, too! We have a busy weekend in store with a hockey game Saturday night and football game Sunday. I will be lots of running around and I am sure alot of eating out!!
