Hi Beth, I"m looking at the ticker and thinking..... holy moly! it's almost to the end. I can't believe you are going to have another beautiful baby in your arms. You looked so wonderful when I saw you. You look like a proud mother (and you lok great too!)
Thanks for the welcome back Beth! And congratulations on reaching the 3rd trimester, how wonderful. A quick question for you - your very active 15 month old :) Is he aware that a new baby is coming? I'm just curious if they have any concept of it at that point and how much you can really explain to them. I'm hoping Jake will be able to get excited about his sibling's arrival, but I'm just not sure what he'll be able to grasp at 18 months. Oh and I"m really looking forward to the running and jumping part!
I'm glad to know I'm not the only insane person out there going for Round 2 so soon after Round 1 . You almost halfway there - a major congratulations to you! I also had a c-section with my Jacob due to a fibroid that wouldn't let him descend, and I'm in the same boat with wondering if I should try for a VBAC or not. Like you, I'm planning to see where things are around the halfway point to decide if it's worth putting myself through the pain of labor again!
I'm looking forward to keeping up with your journal.
Best wishes,
Laura

Thank you so much for the note in my book. You have no idea how nice it is to hear that I'm not alone, my feelings are normal and that other people are going through what I'm going through. I don't know of anyone else in my immediate network of family and friends that's in my same position or even similar postion. I never imagined when we adopted Gabby that I'd become pregnant the same month. Especially after 5 years of not being able to get pregnant. But I guess God thinks I can handle this so I'll take on the challenge. I'm really hoping that after the first trimester I'll be back to my old self but with a bigger belly. : )
Again, thank you. you put a smile on my face and my mind at ease. Hope to keep in touch.

Thank you so much for the comment on my journal! I will definately check out those websites and I will let you know if I have any questions. I'm new at all this, so I'm sure I'll have plenty :) Thanks!!
There are 17.5 months between my first 2 and 17 months between my 2nd and 3rd. (I'm pregnant again, and there will be 20-21 months between #3 and #4, assuming this pregnancy goes full-term in spite of some complications I've been having.) A lot of people look at us crazy, but even more say, "I wish I'd done it that way." It's a lot of work, but a lot of fun, too.
You sound like a mom who really loves your son and this baby, too. I think you'll be so glad, in spite of the challenges!
