YEAH FOR A VBAC!!!! I'm so happy to hear your great news, congrats to you!
I just delivered our second son, Wyatt, via VBAC on 12/24/07. I was sooooooooo worried that I would "fail to progress" or something weird would happen to make a repeat c/s necessary. Much to my surprise, my labor was virtually "textbook" and Wyatt was born with only a few small "hiccups" (I got stuck at 3 cm for 4 hours, then got an epi -- the WONDER drug! -- and progressed to 9.5 cm in 3 more hours, then they needed to use the vacuum to get him out, due to small heart decels, but I'll take that over my Jacob's emergency c-section ANY DAY!).
If you have any questions or need support in anyway, please don't hesitate to ask! I found most helpful was encouragement from fellow moms and bloggers who have had or known of successful VBACs.
YEAH FOR YOU! :)
Warmly,
Beth
PS...following delivery, get LOTS and LOTS of help with 2 under 2....it's a LOT of work! But definitely well worth it :)

I was reading Jenny's entries in her diary and was totally surprised to see that you are expecting another baby! Congratulations! I had been wondering where you'd gone..but knowing how it is with babies I surmised you were just really busy. Wow, you are busy! Congratulations again on this pregnancy and a healthy and adorable one year old little boy!
Happy Birthday Jake!! Wow, it looks and sounds like your not so little boy had a great time on his first birthday. Yay!!
Im glad all is going well with you and Sprout. Congratulations on the slow and steady weight gain and fetal movement. I can not wait to see your belly pics and the upcoming sonogram!!
Oh the running and jumping and climbing part is SO much fun, especially when it's difficult to bend over and tie your own shoes! Ha, Ha! I'm not complaining though, I keep saying "oh this is SUCH a fun age" all the time. Jacob is such a joy!
I haven't had a "discussion" with Jake regarding a baby coming or anything, I think he is just too young to understand. We do "talk" to my belly though, as well as kiss and hug my belly (I think he thinks my belly button is the Baby) and I allow him to carry around a doll to play with. He loves to say "Baby" and always gets so excited around kids, namely babies. I think he'll adjust well to being a big brother (still find that hard to believe!), I have a feeling kids this close in age mostly do. I have heard of other mothers with close in age kids carrying around a babydoll themselves for the last few weeks, pretending to feed the baby, change the baby, etc...so that it gave the older sib "practice" in sharing Mommy. I might try that, I'll keep ya posted - and I'll happily pass along anything else that might be useful too! Please don't hesitate to ask more :)
One piece of advice for the 1st trimester --- when possible, NAP WHEN HE NAPS! (it's kinda like having a newborn all over again)
YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations on your new baby! I'm so excited that you've returned here so quickly - I pray that Sprout sticks!
I totally agree with you on all the Dr. stuff - best to keep life as simple as possible right now. Enjoy the secret between you, your husband and Jake. It only lasts a little while :)
Looking forward to hearing more about your newest adventures!
