Laura,
so great to hear from you! I am so glad you're feeling rather well (minus being allowed to pick up Jake, that's a bummer) and adjusting to life as a family of four. Isn't it awesome?!
I'm also glad Jake has moved so seamlessly into his new role. What a blessing!
Our guys are doing great - Jake just turned 2 (eek!!) and tends to act every minute of it, ha ha. He is full of boundless energy, but Mr. Predictable - plays hard and sleeps hard.
Wyatt is almost 6 months, and is quite Mr. Personality. He is definitely doing things in his own time, announcing his presence in this family - rolling over only when he wants to, sleeping only when he wants to (argh! but he's getting better...most nights, anyway) and just barely started solids. He also has the brightest smile and the best belly laugh! And he's such a cuddly baby (Jake was not) and I'm loving every minute of it.
I agree - I totally LOVE having 2 boys. And it just keeps getting better - they are interacting more every day. Jacob can do no wrong in Wyatt's eyes, and all Jacob likes to do is make him laugh - which he's the best at! Jake has also started saying, "Good morning, Wyatt!" and showing him all of his favorite toys. Does a mama's heart good to see him love his brother how only a brother can!
Anyway, I've rambled enough - I know you've got TONS of stuff to do!
Keep in touch.
Warmly,
Beth
