Hi Everyone -- we had our 28 week appt today.   I found out I passed my second glucose test-which is great news.    The baby's heartbeat was 153 and everything seems to be great.    The baby is starting to be able to deliver some major kicks - usually in the middle of the night.   We have noticed it reacts to noises and pokes now which is fun.   Physically I am feeling good still and hope that continues -- it has been really hot here lately and I def can't take the heat like I used to. 

We have a breastfeeding class tonight -- Eric is just THRILLED about going.   In his words, the milk comes out, and the baby drinks it - why do you need a class, the baby know's what it is doing!      I told him to suck it up, and enjoy the chance to hear about boobs for 2.5 hours! 

For those of you that don't know my Brother and his wife Kristi had a baby girl, Liv, on Saturday -- makes us realize how impatient we are to meet our little one!      Can't wait to meet Liv next week!

Hi All:    We had a 26 week appt to do the Glucose test and get my Rhogam shot.      As a result of that visit I failed the glucose test and found out I was anemic!    I get to go back in this Friday for the longer glucose test - which doesn't sound like much fun (no eating for about 16 hrs!).    I am also on a iron supplement perscription now as well.    

The heartbeat during this visit was 154 and the baby is active as can be - kicking and jabbing constantly - it especially likes the dark (undercovers). We can see more and more movement from the outside and we have been trying to decipher body parts (with no luck) when we feel something poking out.   

I am still feeling good - certainly feeling some new aches and pains - and am loving the veins popping out in my legs and feet!  I can tell there has been a hormonal change from the 2nd tri as I am back to having three moods - B*tch, sobbing or dizty.  I try to rotate them frequently so Eric doesn't get bored.    It's all temporary so I guess we just have to roll with it.    We have another appt in the 11th so I will update you then.

Hi All:     Quick update today!    We had our 24 week appt this morning and all is well.  The baby's heartrate was 141 and we get to go back in 2 weeks for a glucose test and Rhogam shot (my blood is Rh-).     The baby has started kick boxing lessons which we can actually see from the outside - I think I have spent more time staring at my belly than doing anything else lately!
