I have recently been told that my 6 year old son has ADHD, ODD, and OCD(well over the course of his life but ADHD and ODD is recent.) We are in the process of getting his medication to a working level. How do you deal with punishing a child for something he does that he doesn't have control over? How do you respond when your kid tells his sister that he wants to kill her or call her names? Then later cries about what he has said or done cause he says he doesn't want to do bad things, but they just come out of him. (after his medicine kicks in or before his day has gotten off to a bad start.) ↓
