Does anyone else have the frustration like I do that since my child is on meds and is not a distrubance in the classroom that he is ineligible for an IEP. The school does not recognize that he has learning disabilities because there is not a 22 pt spread between his IQ scores and his academic scores. So frustrated - he seems to have the teflon syndrome. Material that is learned he is just unable to retain.

I have a daughter with ADHD and is an angel at school but the devil when she gets home i am not entitled to disability for her she also has dyslexia and now another underlying disorder but what it is i dont know at this moment in time the school dont seem to want to help my daughter but all you can do is fight them i wouldnt have thought that the scores would have anything to do with it i would ask the school to test him/her
