My son has O.D.D. and A.D.H.D. and he seems like he is very sensitve to noise. I was wondering if anyone else's child suffers from the same thing? We had his ears checked because he was getting chronic ear infections so he had to have tubes put in. They did a hearing test and they said his hearing are fine so I don't know if this is normal for kids with O.D.D. and A.D.H.D. He is always telling my daughter that she is giving him a headache and that the tv is too loud (even when it is not)but he thinks it is. I am going to mention this to the doctor the next time we go see him which is in February.
Anyone who has gone through this if you can tell me what you did to make it better I would greatly appreciate it ↓

i dont know if its any help, but i have ocd and add and i hate noise. my son has add/adhd as well. but anyway, the tv or radio being loud is just nerve racking. its because i have so many thoughts going thru my head all the time, that the tv only makes my mind have more confusion. its like there are so many things going on that i get confused about what to focus on. it sounds weird, but it does. headaches come often becuase of all the rukus. ↑

Thanks for the input. My son also has ocd and what you described sounds like him. He gets distracted very easily and he needs to be in a really quiet room when he is doing his homework or he just can't do it. I appreciate your thoughts. ↑

I WILL BE DRIVING AND HAVE THE RADIO AT A LOW VOLUME, EVEN WHEN I COME TO A STOP SIGN....THE ENGINE NOISE IS LOWER, SO I TURN THE RADIO DOWN. I JUST CANT HAVE ALL THE NOISE OF EVERYDAY LIFE. MAYBE HE DOESNT HAVE A "HEAD ACHE"...IT PROBABLY JUST REALLY BOTHERS HIM ALOT AND HE DOESNT KNOW HOW TO VERBALIZE IT. ;) ↑
