I have a 16 year old just diagnosed 3 weeks ago. They were put on concerta. My teen was excited about the diagnosis and open to getting help. Good student but has zero attention span and always on the go. Socially they are an athlete and popular with peers. Always been labeled the class clown. Says feels angry when taking the med. This is a trait my child has never had... now they are a little reserved about getting the needed help. As a parent I have the guilt that my child could have had an easier time in school if this had not gone undiagnosed. ↓
