I have an 8 year who has been on focalin xr 20mg for almost a year now they say medicine last up to 6 hrs so by the time he comes home from school he's unable to concentrate on his homework and does not obey my rules and makes me repeat myself over and over. Especially when I go out shopping he can not take no for an answer when he wants something and ends up making a big scene. He will hide from me or run out to the parking lot and refuse to get in the car.. what can I do to prevent this from happening again it was very fustrating and embarrassing because he will not respect nobody... ↓

My son is 6 yrs old, and I know what your going through, ask his doctor for a dosage at around 4pm, it works for my son. Your not alone. ↑
