Hello all,
I am new to this forum. My 5 year old was just diagnosed with severe adhd with violent tendencies boardering on a learning disability. When I say just, i mean this last Thursday.
I want what is best for my son and we are discussing medication for him to be able to give him a fighting chance with school, which has become very difficult for him.
Does any one have any thoughts on how better to handle hard days? Dominick is a great little boy but on his off days I just want to sit down and cry because I don't know how to deal with him. It is literally likwe waiting for the other shoe to drop and we don't now what will set him off. I am at a loss and I fear my lack of knowledge is creating more issues than helping.
