My son is in the sixth grade and has been diagnosed with Severe ADHD. He struggles in school. He was retained in third grade and recieved a social promotion from fourth to fifth grade and from fifth to sixth grade! I finally after fighting for a year and a half got him in resource but now the school has singled him out and he is recieving refferals almost daily. I requested a behavior plan to be a part of his IEP and the specialist didn't feel it was necessary! I believe it is obviously needed and don't know how to go about getting my son the extra help he needs to be successful in recieving an education! Does anyone know what I can do?
