my 8 years old daugther was put on concerta but the generic one 18mg and she cannot swallow it and heard u cannot break them.someone told me to lay her down and put the pill in het mouth n she will swallow it i did it s working some how any other trick plz n ty

so sorry tohear that. I know how hard it is to have a child swallow a pill. Someone once told me to have the swallow m&ms first then go to a pill...anyone knwo how to control anger and adhd? My 7 yr old son is crazy without his focalin!

Hey goodmorning this is in response to Sarah I have a 8 yr old son that is on a combo of meds for his adhd. I have gone thru so much with him n trying to find the right meds n dose. What kind of behavior problems do u have with ur son?

What I found help my son to swallow his pills was apple sauce stick the pill in a spoon of it n watch it go down.

Kim applesauce it a good one. Pudding has helped also.

I can relate! My 6 year old son was on medication and couldn't swallow the pills. Being an RN, I wanted to try anything before medication. When he was having so much trouble I began to look at different software. I found Express Focus and I noticed results in just a couple weeks. Here is the link to the site. I hope it helps
