I have a four year old autistic foster child with a very big appetite. The problem is that he needs his arm touched before every bite. If he is not touched he will not eat it until you give in. it is almost like he needs permission to eat. however there are a few things he eats independently such as cereal and granola bars but that is about it. Is this a common thing? Any advice on how to get him to eat on his own? Thanks!
