thats the same with me...we want a boy but we cant seem to start to think of a name...we already have a girls name picked out but why is it so difficult to pick out a boys name if were really hoping for a boy? we'd be happy if it were a girl too, but its odd that its like that...

Heather I have the exact opposite problem. Wtih our first child we had a boy and it's a good thing because I couldn't decide on any girl names. Now I think I'm having a girl and still can't decide on a name I like.

I like the name Asa for a boy.

Hey Sylvia,
I to am having a lil girl..i just recently found out. Im 29 weeks pregnant and the doctors have been telling me i was haveing a boy so... for the boy name my fiance' and I choose Trey Allen, and for our little girl we have chosen Alissa Ailene (Ailene being my fiance's mothers middle name, she past when he was 13, we are now only 17) But I do like the name Taylor that was one of my choices to begin with as well. Congratulations on your new addition

I am having a baby girl and my husband picked Julia. I want her middle name to be Rose and he hates it. I can't find any other middle name that goes with Julia. Does any one know of any middle names that go with it?
Thanks

Hey Ale i love the middle name Rose. Why does he hate it so?
How about Marie for a middle name?

Name: me | Date: Sep 14th, 2005 9:46 PM
I like Jaeden and Ashton for a boy

ALE~ How about Julia Nicole? I always liked nicole, but someone in the family has the name, and I haven't had any girls, all boys

Name: Emily | Date: Sep 14th, 2005 9:47 PM
I think Ava is a nice name for a girl, unusual and different.
But I and my partner have decided on Chloe and either Emily or Marie for the middle name. And if it's a boy which we not expecting (just incase) we have decided on Conor.
We have changed our minds so many times with the girls names it's unreal. Another is Taylor and lee for the middle name, or Abigail and Claire for middle name.
So much to chose from it's a bit of a hard decision to make!!!!
Good luck with all.

To all you ladies, just pick out the name you like....and just tell your husbands to deal with it, LOL! I mean if you think about it you're the one will probably be calling the childs name the most; you'll be saying things like stop "such and such" and no-no don't do that "such and such"...so it should be a name you won't mind saying all the time, lol!

hello Sylvia. me and my girlfriend are expecting our first baby in November. i chose the name Alexis Marie because i really like the name Alexis. me and my girlfriend agreed that if it was a boy she would name him and if it was a girl, i would name her. but either way we came to a mutual agreement about Alexis and Marie is her middle name and is also her mothers name. (big italian family) i hope this helps out a bit. oh and ALE i think a nice middle name for Julia would be Gabriella. i really like that name too...

Taylor is a very cute name. I named my boy Khaleb, a catholic name from the bible, he was one of the spys for jesus, i think. I'm not pregnant at the moment but i'm planning on having one more in the not so near future.

The thing about picking a name is matching it with the last name...Van Wyngaarden is my fiance's last name so it's pretty long obviously, so we wanted to keep the names simple and short. I also like McKenzie but Casey didn't one bit.

Name: Rachel | Date: Sep 19th, 2005 2:16 PM
I love the name McKenzie that's my niece's name.

Name: Ale | Date: Sep 19th, 2005 3:31 PM
hi Tonita, I am going to pick the name Rose because its pretty and its strong. I did not pick a family name because there to long and no one in the family is callled by there name. My husband still disagrees but he got to pick her first name. I know when shes born he will adjust to it.

Hi Ale, how was your weekend hun?

Name: Ale | Date: Sep 19th, 2005 8:30 PM
Hi rachel, my weekend was good. The pregnancy has been hard. Some days I can't do much because if I am not puking I have a terrible headache. I did not face that this weekend. The good thing is that my hubby helps me out alot. I been sad because he will be leaving to Iraq next month. How is your pregnancy going and how was your weekend?

Name: Rachel | Date: Sep 19th, 2005 8:38 PM
Hey Ale my weekend was okay i guess. I spent it trying to do housework and laundry. I say try because i was so tired and my back was screaming at me. So needless to say i rested a lot. So sorry to hear your husbands leaving next month. Is there anyone who could help you out when he's gone?

Name: Ale | Date: Sep 20th, 2005 5:50 PM
hi Rachel, I am going back home to deliver and I have to come back home in January. I don't know no one here and I will be on my own. The thing that sucks is that my car just broke down. My husbands car is standard and I don't understand it.

Name: Rachel | Date: Sep 20th, 2005 6:53 PM
Hey Ale so sorry to hear about your car problems. Car's are great until they break down on us. Where is home for you hun?
It's difficult for me too being on my own. What choice do we have though?
