Umm hey guys! It was my Bday Monday and I was busy yesterday, so I haven't been on in a couple of days, but boy! I missed a lot! Anywho, I got a little irritated and annoyed reading through some of the posts to catch up, so I thought I would just throw some questions out there--

Has anyone heard from Christina yet about her induction? She shoulda had that baby Sunday or Monday-- Hope everything is going well there!!

And how about MomtoMany? Anyone heard anything from her yet?

Looks like someone is obviously bumping up old posts to cover all the newer, less friendly posts, so I will just add my own nonsense here and share my news with you guys.

Well, I found out I'm having a whale! Yep, it's not a baby, it's much bigger LMAO!!! I was 29w2d at my doctor's appt. on Monday and overall Baby Nathan is checking out at 31w2d. Even though I was inseminated and we know my conception date is accurate, they discussed moving my due date up two weeks which would be cool with me cuz then he'd be born this year! (Dec 22 instead of Jan 6) Also, though he's suppose to be somewhere between two and two and a half pounds, Baby is estimated to be over three and a half pounds!!! If he gains like he's suppose to, I'm looking at a nine pounder, give or take! What a porker, huh?!?!!?! LMAO

So...I hope there are people still around and everyone didn't leave... How are you all doing???

Did the doctor give you any idea as to how long and the weight she thinks the baby might be at birth??

No, she didn't, but I didn't ask either...Actually I didn't see my regular doctor this time, and am starting to get worried that when I see my regular doctor next week, she will want me to do the glucose test again. I've already had both the one and three hour tests done, but they were done early, so I'm pretty sure Big Boy in there is gonna make her decide to do another. Already giving his mom problems....what a kid! LOL

awww...lol.... I see my regular doctor only till 20 weeks, which I am now, so next I have to go to a place called mom care.it's a group of 7 female doctors which my regular doc is one of them.so each time you go basically you see a different doctor so you can meet them because depending whose on call when you go into labor that doctor delivers your baby. On my son the only doc I didn't meet out of the group happened to be on call...lol!! But it kinda sux seeing so many doctors because it don't give u a chance the know them and they don't know you.

emily i just read this post and found out your having a big baby to. mine was measuring at 41 weeks when i was 34 weeks she was already 8.12lbs and her head was at an 8.9 cm and if she continues to grow she will be just over 10lbs and this is my first. but it caused concern because she was so big and i had the GD test three times lol. so who knows why we have such big babies lol. at least we know they are getting what they need.

well girls I don not envy you when it comes time to push those guys out. At least you will know that they are strong and healthy

yeah i don't envy me either but they told me if she was 11lbs or more that they weren't going to try for a natural birth but for me to have a C-section. I don't know which is better to have but when it comes to an 10 or 11lbs baby i think a C-section might be the way to go don't want her getting stuck.

Wow christen, that's amazing. Man. Wow. LMAO!
So, hey, have you discussed maybe getting induced earlier that your due date? I haven't talked to my doctor about it yet, but honestly if he's big enough and the lungs test that they're ready to go, I would just opt to go ahead and have him...even if it ends up being several weeks early. My mom yelled at me for saying that, but as long as his lungs are ready to go I'm not going to see any reason in allowing him to sit in there just to gain another several pounds when he's already a good weight, ya know?

julie, I too am doing that with my doctor... they call it "rotation." They suggest that I get to know all six of the doctors, which three I already do know. At first I didn't wanna do it, but then I got to thinking that it would be a good idea... After my visit on Monday, though, the doctor was worried about my blood pressure again, and decided to send me to see my original doctor next week.

yeah we have talked about induction and they were going to strip my membranes when i was 35 1/2 weeks but they couldn't reach my cervix because it was still so high so they didnt' know if i was dialiated at all. which kinda sucks but i get an ultrasound on monday and i will be 38 weeks then so we shall see how big she is and decide from there.
