Okay I know this question has been posted plenty of times by other woman, but I never paid attention to the answers. How soon can you feel your baby move? I am 16 weeks with my second baby and yesterday I am pretty sure I felt my baby. I was leaning back to lay down and felt something just move it was in my right side at the top. I got scared and I jumped. I started feeling on my belly and that spot was hard. Then I tried doing the same thing I was doing, but I felt nothing. I don't know I don't want to seem weird, but I just want to make sure.

w/ each subsequent pregnancy you can feel your baby move earlier each time, w/ my first i felt her at 20 something weeks w/ my second at 19 weeks.......I'm not sure right off the top of my head when i felt my third and fourth but w/ my last one I actually felt her at 9 almost 10 weeks, I wasn't sure yet either seemed wayyyy early but the next few days she really started moving around alot and within two weeks i was pos. it was her

Yeah that 's what I heard too. In each pregnancy you feel the baby move sooner. I felt my son when I was around 20 weeks or so.

i'm 15 weeks (16 on thursday) and friday night i felt the baby move for the first time...and i know it's him/her. last night i was sitting in bed reading and i reached over to turn off the light and BAM...it felt like he/she socket punched me...i let out and welp and just sat there for a minute...i didn't feel that exact punch again, but i feel it moving...i guess it didn't like what i was doing. i feel he/she move everyday probably about 5 or so times, and it's always the same movement.

I though it was in my mind lol. I stood still also to see if it would happen again, but it didn't. Hubby still doesn't believe me lol.

It probably it was your baby. I mean you were pregnant before so you should know how a baby feels.

Well obviously I was just trying to make sure because I thought it was to early.

If you do feel your baby this early, it would feel like gas bubbles and be lower than your belly button. At 16 weeks your uterus has not even risen out of the pelvis, so I don't think you would feel it up high. And at 15 or 16 weeks I really don't think you would feel a hard kick that would hurt. The baby just isn't big enough or strong enough at that point. Maybe you are farther along than you thought.

I don't think I am farther along. I felt it up high and it didn't hurt. I just got scared because I'm like isn't it to early.

i'm measuring around 2 weeks of what i really am...but my dr. hasn't changed my duedate. my movements never felt like gas bubbles (with either of my pregnancies)...i woulds describle them more as light thumps.

I am going for an u/s in May so I will know, but in my first u/s I was measuring just right. I would describe it like a thump also.
