Sorry.

Yeah we are definately pregnant.

1. My boobs say so.
2. The morning sickness says so (Arhhhh)
3. The million HPTs say so

and drumroll please

4. My blood test says so
5. My doctor says so

I feel so weird. I thought it would never happen and not this month as we had given up. I was only taking my temperature and used an OPK so that when I reached 12mths that my specialist would have the information they needed. DH was shocked too, as I said we gave up and bd twice for enjoyment. Pleasant surprise.

Told little sister... told me I would be a terrible mother.
Told middle sister.... she screamed she was so excited.
Told Mum... she was really quiet (she told told dad)
Dad messaged me, he was happy.
DH told older friend she said we were crazy, as she warned us if we kept having sex we would fall pregnant. (Think she was kidding)
Told friend/colleague and she was super cool and excited.

It is strange. Can't wait until week 12 until I can see my little munchkin.

Am I stupid for announcing it to others?

ALSO I have pains like af is still about to come, I have lower back pain and feel like I am going to throw up. The period type pains are really worrying me, they aren't consistent, they come and go I am SH1T SCARED that I will have a miscarriage.

Do any of you remember these pains? Is it normal?

How many weeks pregnant are you?

im so excited for you!!!

dont worry, most of us can't keep the news to ourselves. We had planned to let the first 3 months pass to tell everyone, and they ended up finding out just a day after we did, lol

those period type cramps ARE scary. But they are normal...i had em when i found out i was pregnant and i was even more scared of m/c because i already had one last July. But those pains, like coartney said, are gonna come and go throughout the whole pregnancy. I know that having us tell you "dont worry, they're normal", it not gonna help much. But just try to relax and dont stress out about it. Enjoy this wonderful time in your life, you deserve it. And ur little sister is crazy!!! you're gonna be a GREAT mommy!!!! = )

I remember slight menstrual like discomfort, coupled with some light brown spotting around the time my period was missed.

Hey guys, no having you say it is normal eases my mind a lot. My doctor said that the highest risk time for a miscarriage is when your period is due and we have passed that stage, that I should be safe but they can happen to anyone at any stage, he said that I should be good as I am young etc (I know that doesn't mean much though).

We are only in our 6th week, as we are 5 weeks and 2 days along, only 243 days to go... the last week has gone so quickly I hope this pregnancy does too, can't wait until February.

It is still surreal. As you all know this is my first pregnancy and hence will be our first child, Mum is okay now I think, I have been texting her, my parents are on holidays and are travelling home today, I wished them a safe trip... mum replied saying I was up early, that it is very unlike me... I replied by saying that no I am peeing all the time I was awake not by choice ;) She has to accept it. I am sure that she will be excited.

I am sooo excited for you! I'm sure that everything will go smoothly with your pregnancy! I hope your mom comes around, I'm sure she will. :-) Don't listen to what your little sister says, you are going to be a great mom, you've wanted this baby for so long and I know you will do great! :-) I hope your morning sickness passes soon, enjoy your pregnancy because February will be here before you know it! Congrats again, I couldn't be happier for you!

MOM TO BE. i have never talked to you before. i am mostly on stay at home moms but i read in here all the time and have read of your trials in becoming preggers. i had the same problem. i noticed that several people you told about your pregnancy didnt seemed particularly thrilled. i was just wondering how old you are. not that it matters if you are young, just thought it might be a reason you had some of the reactions you did. =

Mom2be is young, but she is a working professional, she is a teacher, I think her hubby is teacher as well, but not sure.

She may have got those responses because it's so early in the pregnancy. They'll end up being happy for them though, especially when they hold their new grandbaby.
