Lauren and I are talking about this some on AIM and i was wondering what are some that you have been told or have heard while being pregnant......

i have been told (that i can remember right now)

1) dont cross your arms over your belly because it pushes the baby down

2)dont raise your arms above your head because the baby will turn

I think everyone is napping right now.. My mother in law told me not to raise or reach over my head... I was also not supposed to drink anything carbonated because it would put gas bubbles in the amniotic fluid.. WTF???

If you have lots of heartburn your baby has lots of hair. My kid better have a head full of hair!

If the heart rate is fast it's a girl, slower it's a boy.

I'm not sure if this is the correct order, but I think if you're carrying in the front it's a boy, if you're carrying all over it's a girl.

My grandmother actually told my cousin not to ride a bike, cause it would give the baby Down Syndrom! She told me I wasn't allowed to "reach" for anything. Don't know why, but she is a grandma! Crazy!

My aunt always judges from the back...if you look pregnant from the back it's a girl, if you don't it's a boy. It's worked so far.

And I don't think it matters how big your ass gets. If you still have the curve on your sides looking from the back it's supposedly a boy. If your curves are now strait it's a girl

My cousin gained 90lbs during her pregnancy (wow!) and other than looking overweight she didn't look pregnant from the back. She still had all her curves and a few new ones. She ended up having a boy

I'm originally from Columbus Ohio.... Very big adjustment.. Lovin' the weather... Hubby and I have been here almost 5 years. How you liking the "southern" charm...

The southern charm is nice, and the weather is better. I just feel like there's nothing to do here. My hubby and I aren't the partying type, but going to the beach all the time gets boring.

What do you and your hubby normally do? It seems like we really can't even meet new people! My bro-in-law and his wife live here, but they are "Alabama" type. They live in Bay Minnette and the few friends they have introduced us to, they are too afraid that we will "take" their friends. It's really stupid and childish. And they are in their mid 30's!
