although I have been bleeding at my normal time each month it has been shorter. A condom broke 3 or 4 months ago.... (or more?) I took a pregnancy test before I started what I thought was my period and it was negative. My breasts have been very tender the last few months but no morning sickness. However the last few weeks I have been feeling movement in my belly and I seem to have gotten bigger and more firm. Any ideas about what else that could be??? It definitely doesn't feel like gas. Thanks for all of your comments ahead of time.

I just took another one a couple of days ago. It was negative... but it was a very cheap one. How reliable are they?? any additional thoughts??

Look the tests are accurate as much as we hope one way or another that they are not. If you take a test when you dont really need the toilet though, especially if it is not first thing in the morning it can still show up negative even if you are pregnant if you are in the very early stages.

I would hazzard a guess that what you are experiencing is something else that maybe you should consult you GP about. Now I dont want to scare you but I am familiar with the symptoms you have explained and I had endometriosis. All I am saying is it may not be a baby, or gas, but it could be something that you should have checked out. It's certainly worth the trip to ask the question.

Good luck.

The tests are accurate, I agree with Anne-Marie, you should definatley go in and see your doctor.

Thanks for all of the information. I know that someone in my family had endometriosis...and I had some very severe complications when my son was born... to the fact that I almost died. I never had my post natal check up.... if I do have something it would be my fault for being to stubborn and scared to see a doctor. I am just going to hope that it is something simple. But I certainly will go see a doctor. Thanks again.

Okay so I looked up endometriosis... and it isn't consistent with my symptoms. I don't feel any pain.... I didn't see movement listed anywhere.... any other thoughts? thanks again
