We are trying to concieve. I am about a week away from when my period is due. I have been feeling very sporadically for the past 2 days strange waves of cramping on my side. It is too early for menstrual cramps and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this.

Hi Girls, I took 2 HPT today and both are positive!!! I am trying to get to the doctor's tomorrow to get blood test. Do they give you a blood test right away?

if you took 2 tests and are 3 days late, you are pregnant. a false positive is very rare unless you were just pregnant before this or are taking a certain medication. i dont think you need a blood test to confirm it. congatulations

i meant to tell you that i think the cramping you experienced was due to the cluster of cells, called a blastocyst, that burrows into your uterus about 7-10 days after conception. i had that cramping too and looked it up in a book ( the best pregnancy book out ther in my opinion) "pregnancy week by week" and that is what it said. this book gives you exact size and development of your baby in amazing detail every week.
