I have a bicornuate uterus and was told that there is a slight possibility of this happening, but it's highly unlikely.

| hi im 21 and at 16 i had a really heavy bleed and for 3 years i was having on and off bleeds, doctors did tests which were useless none of them helped before we eventually demanded to be refured to a ginocologist (cant spell), i went for a laporoscapy (camera in my belly button) and they discoverd that i had two uteruses and 1 kidney. the reason why i was havin bleeds was because on of the cervices was closed so they drained the blood and that was that. they told me i had this wen i was comin out of an anesthetic so i didnt really understand. a few months after i got pregnant and the doctors said it would be difficult for me to carry this baby and would most probably not survive so i had an abortion still not fully understanding and there isnt a day i dont think about this. i have been with my boyfriend for 3 years now and he has helped me through all of this and cant wait to have a baby but im a ittle nervous. ↑ |
| I am absolutely amazed that other people have the same problems as me. I am 29 yrs old and have a split cervix and 2 uterus. It took me a long time to understand that I had to use 2 tampons and my mom looks at me like I am crazy when I try and explain why. I only have one period a month but have severe mood swings and depression at times. I tried to get pregnant for over 7 years and have been told time and again that I should just keep trying. I feel a lot better that there are other people out there like me. This is my first time ever even using a forum....I was just amazed to read other peoples stories and had to respond. ↑ |
