I think that unless they are identical twins, it doesn't really run in families. I have definately been told that identical twins are at quite a higher rate to have twins themselves, though I am unsure of the numbers. We have twins in my great grandma's generation (and a set of triplets) but there hasn't been anything since ( I dont know if they are identical or fraternal) and we are unexpectedly having identical twins. There seems to me a lot more to chance than statistics on this one! ↑ |
