i left a message a few days ago saying i was to be induced on the 13th at 4am. well everything went well and i now have a beautiful baby boy!! this is how it happened:

i got to the hospital at 3:45am, signed in at the L&D then got settled in my room. after doing tons of paperwork and getting into my gown. the doctor came in checked my cervix which was 2+ but still high. he place a pill in me to help with the dilating and effacment about 5am. the pains were starting to come abit more constant but not painful, they was alot like period cramps so i slept until 8am at what time the doctor rechecked me, i was then at 4cm and he broke my water noticing my little guy had a bowel movement because it was green, he went over the precautions. at this point i told the nurse to give me something to take the edge off because the cramps were coming more steady, more uncomfortable then painful. about 10 minutes later i told her to order the epi cause the meds she gave me didnt ease the pain it seemed to got worse and i felt like i was higher then a kite. by time she got everything together for the epi she said she needed to check me first. the response i got was on no im sorry hun but we dont have enough time i gotta page the doctor. my mouth dropped to the floor!! im now in so much pain that i couldnt lay in any position, i about lost my mind!! the doctor came in and said oh my,the baby is right there!! put your legs up here and push..well even though i thought i was dieing i only pushed 2 or 3 big pushes and it was over by 9:13am..4 hours of labor with no epi and and 1 hour of hard labor, the only thing i can say is wow!! my littleones name is louis joseph and was born on june 13 at 9:13am he was 7lbs 1oz ,19 3/4 in long. he wasnt suppose to be due until june 21. we did get a little scare from him after i delivered because of him having a bowel movement in me before birth. i guess he swallowed alittle and caused him to have breathing problems when i delivered. the nurses took him straight to the table and started working with him because he was so blue.about 5 minutes later i got to hold him. we were discharged from the hospital today june 14 at noon...
thanks for reading my story and in return thanks to those who have helped me out during my pregnancy. i know i wont have nearly as much time to be on here anymore but i will be checking in time to time just to say hello..good luck and congrats to those who are due or just delivered!!

great story. The is the best induced labor story I have heard :) not having the epi sucks, but at least you didn't ahve to feel that way for a long time. Same thing happened to my sister. She said it was hell at the time, but in the end was glad that she didn't ahve the epi, becuase she didn;t have to wait for it to ware off to shower and stuff.
