my back started to hurt seriously bad today. i'm talking about barely being able to walk here. there is a pain in my right butt cheek as well, so i am assuming that it is my sciatic nerve. but i am only 11 weeks, is this a little early to be feeling this. even though when i went to the doctor last the baby was way back by my spine. help.

Well I'm 8 weeks and I've been like that for the last two weeks.

I don't know what it is, but waitin' for Christmas to finish so I can see if everythin's ok.

Just take it easy for a while. That's what I'm doin'

This is normal in early pregnancy. Once your baby is a little bigger, your womb will naturally come forward and relieve the pressure on the sciatic nerve. The pain should ease naturally soon.
I had the very same problem in my first pregnancy. I could barely walk! The pain went away when I was about 14 weeks I think.

I had some problems with sciatia about 18-20 weeks I think. I'm not sure exactly. The doctor told me that there was really nothing to be done about it and to just wait it out. It only lasted about a week and then my baby moved up and more into my stomach (and out of my pelvis/back) because it stopped hurting. Hopefully as your baby gets bigger he/she will shift into another position, as well.

i had the same problem at about the same time as you. it will get better as your baby gets bigger.

I didnt have any really bad back pain until about 24 weeks but everyone is different. Back pain is completely normal though during pregnancy but if youre really worried about it call your ob.

this is my second pregnancy, and both times i had sciatic pain in the first trimester. like everyone says... "all women are different". that's what it most likely is. but always check with your doctor if you think something is wrong... no matter what it is, your doctor might have good advice for your particular situation. good luck, i know how tough sciatic pain can be!
