This is my first too, dont worry i had no clue what it felt like at first. Thought my stummy was growling from me being hungry but now i know it is the baby move. My best thing to say it feels like is a bubble in the stummy that feels like it goes pop. Other people say it feels like flutters but my bubble statement fits for me.

I am 18 weeks and when I lay flat on my back and stay still/quiet for a few minutes the baby will start to move after I put my hands on my stomach. and it feels like the baby is pushing my hand away LOL. but before you feel it on the outside it feels as if you do when you go on a rollercoaster and you get those butterflies in your tummy. that's how the flutters feel.

I first felt my lil girl move around 17-18 weeks....it just felt like something was poking me right belove my belly button.....ever since then shes kicked me everyday....shes kicking more now....but everyone is different...some feel movement at 15 weeks some dont feel it until 23 weeks.....you will deffinitly know when the baby kicks you, and if it does it alot after that then thats another sign that its the baby

It feels like flutters or light rumbling on the right and left side of the naval.

At first, around 16 weeks it feels like your uterus is full of bubbling soda, and as the baby grows larger, it starts feeling like a muscle spasm inside your stomach or strong 'heart beats' at the randome parts of your abdomen. When the baby turns, it may hurt a little and you might feel the pressure until it adjusts him/herself.

For me, around about 16 weeks I felt like a bubble was popping in my tummy. It felt like that until I was about 30 weeks and after that it felt like a wave in my stomach. I would be lying down and I could see a ripple in my tummy. Im 41 weeks now waiting for her to be born and I can see her feet stick up and she raises her butt, but the movement of the baby starts to hurt now. Lots of pressure, but such an experience to see your baby moving..

I am 16 weeks now, and to me, it feels like fluttering, to the right side of my navel..at first i wasn't sure if it was the baby, but the movement is increasing, and i am pretty sure it is..

how far along are you? around 18 weeks, it should feel like a bubble. not very much movement and not strong. but as you get further, it will start to feel really stong and definate that it is a kick.

My name is Lisa, and girl IT IS A TOTAL JOY TO FEEL THE BABY. I am 31 weeks, and I never felt mine until I was just entering 24 weeks, and at that time it felt like little flutters.

However, she now kicks all the time (and strongly too) since I am in my final trimester. Sometimes I'm laying down watching TV or something and she starts to kick, and all I can do is laugh. I then begin talking to her asking her what she's doing? It also feels like a little punch to the gut lol. It is a marvelous thing, and I would not change anything for the world.

When you reach seven months your doctor will probably tell you what mine told me "if you don't feel at least ten kicks per hour then drink something sweet and she should kick".

I love my precious baby, and everything she does gives me joy.

This morning I was sitting on the toilet (about to get up) and she started to kick, so I sat there watching my stomach because I could actually see the movements; it really tickled me (as in laughter). It's just a blessing I'm telling you!

Yep, that's kinda what if feels like when you first feel the baby move. I was about 18 weeks along when I first noticed. I called it "flutters". Every since that first day I felt her move, she does it all the time now. Well everyday I should say not ALL the time. Isn't it a cute feeling!

I am little so he had no room and kicked and tumbled and you can see your tummy just a rollin on the out side it is kina funny but it is cute all at the same time you just wonder what they are thinking and really tring to do in there. They also dream what can they drim about. I think mine was dreaming about food!! LOL! When he was born he'd even suck in his sleep just like a bottle was in there but there wasnt I said look he's dreaming of a bottle, and we'd just laugh! It is a neat experiance to me!

I think I might be pregnant, I don't know my boobs are sore but not to the touch. There are little things that make me sick to my stomach.(food's I normally like make me sick) I'm MOODY one minute I'm crying and upset the next minute I'm happy and laughing. I feel like my stomach is fluttering but only at the bottom of it. and sometimes I have little cramps at the bottom of my stomach. It's not time for my period yet so I don't know! What do you think?

Brittany19, I really am not sure what that would mean! I am 7 and a half months pregnant and I still sleep on my stomach comfortably well not comfortably I have to stay propped under my leg. But maybe you should see a doctor!
