He only eats stage two gerber babyfood (six flavores only), yogurt but I must remove any chunks of fruit, chips, and beef jerky. Other than that its boxes, shoes, paper, books, wood, dirt/mud, carpet fibers, lint...so pica is a big problem. However, anytime i introduce ANY kind of new food he refuses to eat it. He wants to see the package and memorizes it, so I can forget about trying something twice. He is also still on infant formula for the rest of the vitamins. Milk (all but the infant formual) he refuses even if its flavored and it gives him terrible diarreah. His speech and occupational therapist have tried twice to feed him something new and it didn't work out. The problem is he is starting to not want to eat the baby food but still is not willing to try anything new. Has anyone ever ran into this and what seemed to help in your situation? I'm so worried, and the doctor doesn't see a problem because he doesn't 'look' like hes losing weight.
