I've had bulimia/binge eating disorder on and off for about 2 years; however, just recently it's formed into a dangerous habbit. It's distroying my identidy, my confidence, i'm becomming depressed. I try keeping myself busy, hanging out with my friends all the time, eating healthy, but late at night after everythings over i find myself eating everything like im starving then feeling so guilty afterwards i make myself puke. I don't want to be like one of those girls who suffer for 8-10-to 20 years. I want to end it now! But i feel like im doing something wrong, i'm trying so hard but i find myself hovering over a toilet just about everynight making another false promise to myself that i'll stop. HELP!

Well I know it's hard to stop the habit, but if you think about it it's actually quite simple - you need to realise that you choose to binge & you can choose not to. If you feel like bingeing just stop & think..think how crap you'll feel afterwards & think about what you're doing to your body..instead of bingeing have a big glass of water & go to sleep or if you're not tired do something ike listen to music or do your nails, or clean your cupboard out or just anything to distract yourself from FOOD!

You have complete and total control of one thing and one thing only: Your own MIND. When this thought enters your subconscious mind, you have the power to NEVER turn the thought into an action.

I say no more
