I was a pure unquestionable bulimic. Threw up three times a day. Unatural, but still I felt in control. Unfortunately, Bulimia does nothing. In most cases, you lose a little weight, about 10-20 pounds. In the first couple of months. Then, eventually, you start gaining weight rapidly. Your body doesn't understand what you're doing to it. So it reacts by having a breakdown. After you gain back the weight you lost, plus a few extra, you just...stop doing anything. Except destroying your stomach, diaphram, and throat. Bulimia is no joke. It can cause death. It has, in the past. I'm only 14. I'm just glad, that I had counselors, and a great doctor, who helped me. Do not become Bulimic. You'll regret. I know i do. ↑ |
Everyone is different. Some gain, some maintain and some lose. What happens in every case though is you damage your body, and sometimes irreversably. Weight comes and goes, but health can be affected for life. It's not a difficult decision. What's hard is trying to follow it through.
