yeh the name says it all, im not even that hungry lol, i am dieting i plan on eating dinner later on so im not starving completely i just usually pig out and snack so i figure 1 or 2 meals a day will help and some excercising. sound good ? or am i just being silly

That's bad! U need to be eating at least 1200-1400 cals a day. No less! The average person uses about 1400 calories just to keep alive - breathing, repairing stuff & so on. That's b4 any exercise too. If you're eating that little your body is in starvation mode. And when that happens your metabolism slows down, U lose muscle, and when that happens your bodyfat% goes up. & when u start eating properly again you'll gain fast. U need to stay AT LEAST within the 1200-1400 cal range. U should never go under 1200 cals, Not good for your health. Keep doing it you'll Bcome malnourished &you'll feel like crap

i fink i mite be like 900 calories a day i dont know..bt ive been drining allot of like 7up, sprite, coke, lemonade and there quite high in calories so that helps. i havnt eaten yet today anfd its 6:35pm and im starving lol but im wating for my dinner so ill wait. with the regular excercise cause i dont want my parents finding out that im doing this and there home sometimes i cant always do it and in my opinion i have enough body fat so i can jst eat that, ive been doing this for 5 days now and it has sort of worked im looking slimmer and i have no metabolism as it is anyway so i migt aswell do this.

Hey David!

DO you mean you have 900 calories including the soft drinks or 900 calories + the calories from softdrinks?? & the softdrinks u have have sugar right? (not diet) ??
900 calories a day is way too low. Of course you'll lose wt & look slimmer but it's still not enough & your metbolism will slow even more & you'll become malnourished & eventually your body will stop working! If the softdrinks are full sugar & not diet then they'll be giving you empty calories. Plus after you have a sugary softdrink your body secretes insulin which is a fat storage hormone released after eating any high gi carb. Not to mention softdrinks one of the most acidic things you can have so you could be damaging your teeth. Plus It would be better if you switched to diet softdrinks & to make up for the calories from the softdrinks eat a little more so you won't gain but you'll at least be getting more nutrients. Eat more fruit, veges, anything low fat as long as it's healthy. Better than filling up on those drinks which r full of sugar

I know exactly how you must feel! My parents used to bug me about it too & I used to make up a whole heap of lies about what I've eaten. I thought I was ok too!
Then realised I was not ok. You might feel ok now but if u keep going on like this eventually your body will stop functioning properly & your body will eat up your muscles. U prob don't believe me but it's true

naa lol wernt me i dunno if it is exactly 900 i think it might be lower, but i had to eat a roll today aswell as dinner i couldnt be bothered to ignore my hunger, but i feel like ive let myself down.

I do thinks like that too. I mean.. Im not dieting, just sometimes i wont eat the entire day, then later I'll have junk food to compensate for not eating the entire day.

But, it is unsafe to not eat anything for more than 2 days.

I have. I think most ppl do. I made it worse tho by drinking too much. I was drinking lots of water & didn't realise, but because I was drinking so much & not eating much I was flushing all the electrolytes out of my body so that made me even more dizzy . I ended up having a fit at the end & then I was in a coma for 3 days. I thought I was dead when I woke up. Yep thought i died & went to hell! I was actually in hospital! Real life hell!

David, your body gets used to what you do to it but i has itīs limit. You should stop what you are doing to yourself before you cross it. And your body is already starving.

U might be anorexic u know. Did u know when an anorexic sees themself a part of their brain actually shuts down & this is what causes them to see thamself much bigger than what they are. This only happens when they see thamself - not when they see other ppl.

Hey David!
R u sure that you're stomach isn't just bloated coz there's a difference between being bloated & being fat. Those soft drinks u have would definitely make you bloat because they cause wind. Also if u don't have enough protein, fluid could leak out of your stomach wall and cause bloating. This is why alcoholics get big guts.
FOr me though, no matter what I eat, my stomach seems to get bigger & bigger with every bite i eat!
What do u mean by - do you do any dieint ??

heya, i ment do you do any dieting sorry lol bi of a dislexic typer lately, i dunno if its bloating.. but when i lie down i can rally feel my pelvis bones but when i stand up i cant nd i dnt wna not feel em cos to me if you cant.. your fat i dunno why i just think that.
oh well im jst gna keep trying to diet.

Well I 'm like on a constant diet. I eat about 1400 calories a day & most of what I eat it low fat. This keeps my low BMI maintained at 14.5. I never eat less because I'm afraid of being admitted to hospital, but I don't eat more because I'm afraid to gain. SO I just eat the same so I can maintain.
If you're limbs r skinny but only your gut sticks out this sounds like you're bloated.. Same thing happens to me when I lie down you can see my ribs & all but when I stand up it sticks out. In the morning my gut is usually almost flat & by the end of the day BOOF! I'M LIKE... PREGNANT! Well really depends how much I eat during the day.

yeh when i woke most of the time its great but at the end of the day its lke OMG WTF so i lift my arms up and it looks good but i know its fake lol. do you know anyway to stop bloating?

Thank god I'm not the only one with this problem!!!
Well, first of all if you're underweight that will make it look more bloated than it is so maybe you need to gain a bit of weight. Also if u start eating more your body will get used to digesting normal amounts of food again - most ppl who don't eat enough suffer digestive problems whhich cause bloating. Also I think u should have water instead of sodas becoz they cause wind & wind & gas is one of the main causes of bloating in everyone. Also chew your food slowly so it's gets broken down easier so you the less likely you are to suffer from gas caused by swallowing air, Plus you could try supplements - pancreatin which is supposed to help with digestion & charcoal which gets rid of wind.
Oh plus if you're constipated that would make bloating even worse so make sure u get enough fiber & drink enough water. SOmetimes after I go to the toilet all of a sudden - POOF!! there goes my stomach!

omg yeh, im nto underweight im average lol, yeh i know what you mean sometimes i do get constiapted but i try and do ym best to get fibre. yeh i try and not dirnk sodas but if i get hungry they kill ym appeite and when id rink wate it makes me feel sick if i drink allot,d o you get this?

Yeah well, I used to feel like that. But I just made myself drink so now I'm used to it. When I was little I used to suffer real bad constipation all the time & the reason was I didn't drink enough. Fiber won't do nothin 4 u if u don't drink. It's important 2 drink Otherwise everything you've consumed will become hard.
Also u could try taking flaxseed with water. The only thing is it has about 45 - 55 calories per serve! It might be worth it tho

Hey that's ok David! No problem. I just turned 26 & I'm a shorty - 150cms - doc says I might have stunted my growth from malnutrition & could have grown about an inch more. So anyway would still be short even if I hadn't stunted my growth! Oh & I have brown long hair & dark brown eyes. I'm half anglo - indian & half caucasian. How old r u? Your user name says David82 so that mean were u born in 82??

you would think that i was born in 82, but i wasnt lol. im nearly 17 in a month and 2 days WOO lol. aww bless ya i think im 5ft 7-9 something like that anyway lol. ermm im 32 inch waist. platnum blonde hair, blue eyes and im from yorkshire in uk.
i feel like ive put on weight since ive been eating cause im back to binge eating again like eating when im bored i thought it was easier not dieting i mean i did get dizy but atleast i was loosing weight.

I should have known! I mean you did mention you're still growing. How could you still be growing if you're born in 82?!?!You'd be like, 25!!
Anyway if you only eat 900 calories like you were doing you won't have the nutrients to grow & you'd end up stunting your growth like I did & you won't grow anymore. So make sure you eat properly from now on ok or you'll be sorry when you're older! I know i am coz I know I could have grown more!
