hi um...i've been big for a while, like, my whole life and im 14 and about..geezus i dunno anymore bout 180 sumthing but i havent eaten in three days and not planning on it anytime soon, bcuz i feel so dizzy and light and good...and think i lost maybe 4 ibs idk but this is a bad question...should i stop??? i don't want 2...cuz i DID lose weight and im like omfg!! yaaay!!! all my friends r skinny 2...sorry for the dumb questio..more like a story than a question sry ^_^

Well, you SHOULD stop, but here's the thing: You have to do it the "right" way or your body will gain weight even faster since it's been starved.

The first day you get off the fast, have ONLY vegetables (no fruit!) and water.

The second day, try veggies, fruit and water.

The third day, eat veggies, fruit, water, and maybe one meal with a little meat or bread in it.

You can gradually get off of a fast that way and your body won't hold onto those calories as much as it would if you just quit cold-turkey.

hey!! an inuyasha + kagome fan lol. i love them. anyway, i fast too---actually on one rite now. longest i've gone was about a week, and after the first 4 days i had already lost 10 lbs--- that was definitely motivation to keep going. Umm, in a selfless note however, i wouldn't advise you to do this unless it's for spiritual reasons (which it isnt is it? lol). it's quite addicting, and unhealthy when done as excessively as i do it. also, after a fast is over, sometimes you end up losing more control than before and gaining bk everything and more (stating from personal experience =[ ). however, i'm not telling you to not do it, but that if you really want to keep it up, you really should know what ur getting yourself into. if you have a true, fresh anorexic mindset, me telling you not to carry on with this is futile (look up Amy Leanne Gretner on youtube tho, that may dissuade you).

there are people, on the other hand, that do go on occasional fasts for weight loss, that are not anorexic---and the occasional one can actually be beneficial for the health and mind

I don't understand! How could u feel good being dizzy! It feels terrible 2 feel dizzy! & it's kinda scary!
Yes u should DEFINITELY STOP NOW! U're metabolism has slowed down so ur body is in starvation mode which makes it harder than ever to burn calories..plus this is exactly how most eating disorders start!
It is much healthier & u'll feel much better if u cut down ur fat intake, have NO LESS than 1200 calories a day! make sure u exercise too..even if it's just walking 30 mins a day. It's very ezy 2 lose wt healthilly. U should see a dietician.
