My son signed up on my computer and at first told him 2,3,4, times that I was getting all his comments going to my e-mail. He tried to stop and couldn't and said sorry. One day I had it all go to spam. Well I opened it when one of his cousins called my husband after my son had an agrguement , he said my son posted it on facebook. I started looking and shocked that my son had lied about borrowing the car to get a job (was at the beach until the next day. I now find myself looking everyday because he is lying to us.

I don't know what to do. Sometimes I feel he is reaching for help when talking to some of the kid about not being able to get a job being a failure because of this.

I need some advice do I stop looking , do I tell him ????Thanks, I'm always great at giving advise but I don't know what to do.

Hi there -

I understand your dilemma about deciding whether or not you should tell your son you have access to his Facebook account. This is a tricky situation, and I can tell you want to do what's best for your son. I hope that you'll take a minute to check out this article series on Focus on the Family's website here: http://bit.ly/JJy2xZ

I work at Focus, and there's also counselors available to speak with you over the phone: http://bit.ly/wZKctV Hope this information is helpful. God bless you!
