As some of you may know my husband had a 90 gallon saltwater tank, which he sold today. He is going to set up a 120 gallon freshwater.
Anyway, I have a little frog and went and got it a bigger tank, then thought it looked lonely, so I went and picked out a fish. Well the fish is pregnant according to the pet store. Does anyone know about baby fish? I set up a smaller tank, and put the fish in that one, so that when she has her babies I can just move her into the bigger tank and leave the babies in the smaller one,

Momof3 I dont think you do any thing diffrent with the babys as you would with the adults. Just so none of the babys get eaten remove mom from the tank after she has them. Since you already know that there isnt any thing more to do besids feed them. Good luck!

She will be fine till she is done having them but move her when you think she is done. The baby's need to stay in the tank till the filter and the mom don't pose a threat to them.

That was what I was planning to do. I have a little 1.5 gallon that I have the mom in and then I will move her into the bigger tank. Thanks for your help. I will let you know. I am getting another female at a later date. I don't want to do this again. I have no idea what to do with all the fish.

Buy them some fry food. Young fish are called 'fry'. It comes in a squeezy bottle and resembles yellow milk.

I forgot you had fish Atomic. My husband sold his saltwater tank and is buying a 130 gallon tank, and he is going to build his own stand.
