yea.....i do.......i was going to breed my old little dog, [she was a chihuahua] because she was just the sweetest little thing, so gentle, and frail, beautyful dog, very good tempered,[former show dog] i would have loved to have a bunch of them running around! but she was 8 years old. she wasnt physically fit to carry around a bunch of puppies, and who were we to put her through that ? she was in great shape for her age, but she was just to old. it couldnt be done! this was a small dog, also, a chihuahua, and smaller dogs tend tp live longer, and stay physically
"younger", than dogs larger than them. take this into consideration. would you want to risk your dogs life? being so much older, the risk of death during delivery, or pregnancy is much higher, than say a 3 or 4 year old dog. two, do you want to risk the puppies lifes? the same goes for the puppies. but you still should call for a veternarians opinion, so see if she still is capable of having puppeis anyways. hope i was helpful!
