How much does she weigh? the food amount depends on her weight. I would suggest **Blue Buffalo** ((DRY)), it is a great food with no junk addatives!

First you need to stop feeding her table foods it is not healthy for her and will only make her fat as well as pickey with her food. She should be fed twice a day, once in the morning and agin in the evning.

Offer it to her leaving it down for about an hour, if she doesnt eat it take it up! Offer her it again later, again if she doesnt touch it take it up! Repeat the same routien the next morning, dont worry she wont starve she will eat when she is hungry!

I dont know if you walk her or when but if you get her to run and tire out befor you feed her, this may work up an appetite getting her to eat!

well no i don't walk her. she runs free though. her previous owner lives just a couple of houses down from us and we are way out in the country. she has lots of room to run around and play. she has never been in a pen or anything and i just couldn't imagine making her do that now. as for the wieght i have no clue! but i can tell you that she is definily not skinny! not fat either though. and i have been just leaving her food out for her but i suppose i will stop that now. just offer it to her every now and then. thanks alot!

Pitts can weigh any where between 40 and 80 lbs so as for the amount to feed her that would again be based on her weight. The self feeders are only good for some small breed dogs. The large breed most will get over weight and not have regular bowel movments! Thats good she has plenty of room to excersize I would never suggest a kennel if not needed. Try taking the self feeder up, dont feed her any thing but her dog food and see how she does. Good luck!

Be sure it is a mesured amount of food, try a cup twice a day. This is assuming she is a healthy well bread Pitt eating a good filling dry food. With that beeing said she should weigh no more than 45-50 lbs especially beeing a female. If she seems to eat it right up still seeming hungry than increas it by another 1/4 cup.
