I know that when a boyfriend or partner decides that he cannot handle this type of change in his life the easy option is to leave, rather than face a situation that could enlighten his life. This is his lose. The situation is now that you will have to manage the huge feat of going alone though your pregnancy yourself. With no complications this is the easy part of becoming a parent which is the most life changing part of your life. The labour being only a possible 10hours either shorter or longer depending on the position and your body wanting to deliver your baby ,then after this exciting exhausting time you usually have a wonderfull baby that is dependant on your everyneed . This then turns into a situation that every ...yes every parent has to encounter is that you are responsible for the upbringing , decisions, care, safety , schooling, sport ing , nutritional, health wise needs and decisions of your child. NO it is not easy but with everything with a bit of practise anyone can do it...and it does not matter if you are 15 or 40 , every mum is in the same boat. So you ask if there is anyone in your same position I am sure there is .. but remember they are not you. you are you . You know your inner strength and you know you are half way there because you have reached out and asked someone for help. If any one comments about you being in your situation negitively ignore them .. because believe me, when I say they are not living your life or have any idea of your situation. . The usual course for most mums to be is to book into to a hospital or at least find a Doctor you would like to go through you pregnancy with. They will order an early scan test to elimate abnormanities and get you book into a hospital for your birth or birthing centre. Good luck ... Its ok too to be scared of the unknown ..
and remember sometimes things happen for a reason.
