Hi hun,
It could be lots of things making your period late when you are so young. It is pretty cheap to get a home pregnancy test though and, if you truly are 2-3 weeks late, the dollar store will have one that is sensitive enough to pick up a pregnancy hormone.
That being said, I am concerned that you are 12 and your boyfriend is 17. That is wayyy to big of an age difference at this point. He should not be having sex or even dating a 12 year old. he is one year from being an adult and you are not even a teenager yet. Please get away from this guy asap!

Wow. You kids are only 12 and 13, not even out of elementary school. You should not be having sex, you're not physically and emotionally ready for the consequences. I'm 15 and I'm still a virgin, I'm saving sex until I'm married and I know I can handle the consequences. It saddens me to see kids losing their virginity and innocence at such young ages... You're only kids, spend your time now being a kid.
Of course, I really shouldn't be telling you how to live your life. What you're going to have to do is tell your parents. I know it sounds scary, but they can help you.
