Ok thats because he know that you will atend to him when he cries, try ignoring him i know its hard but it will be worth it in the end, seriosly. He need to know who the adult is in this situation. he is only a baby so dont let him bully you into not sleeping, maybe if you ignor him and actually get some sleep he will have a happy mum, not a tired grumpy mam. That is the reality of being a mom. But I agree with Mandy to a degree. Don't let him have the upper hand. Make a routine and stick to it. If you decide that 9:00 p.m. is bed time then make sure he is good and tired come 9:00 p.m. and put him to bed and leave him there. Try to avoid starting habits that will be hard to break such as giving a bottle in the crib, or rocking him to sleep, or letting him fall asleep in your bed. Just be tough but loving and reassuring and let him cry it out a few times ~ he'll get the hang of it. ↑ |
