My belly is like a basket ball. Poeple tell me that I'm carrying a girl belly but the girl bellys that I have seen are not like basket balls they are more like a pear. They start from the top of the belly and are more spread out around the sides. I'm just scared that it will be a girl. I want and am ready for a boy. The doctors better be right. ↓

From my experience, and I almost ALWAYS get it right, If you can hardly tell that you are pregnant from the back (basketball shape in front) its a girl.
If you spread out everywhere, and look big from the back, its a boy ↑ |

well i started out with a basket ball belly.. he seemed to be sitting up alot higher, like above my belly button...now its starting to look like a pear shape.......and i can definly tell you its a Boy there is no missing what i saw on the ultrasound..
Really come on its a old wives tale, how can the gender of a baby determine what your stomach looks like?
Obviously you had a ultrasound to determine the sex...didnt you have a look for yourself or have the doctor point it out???
If your having a boy..i can tell you now there is NO missing the penis and balls...and the ultrasound pictures with the girls, same story. ↑ |

| Actually, they usually get it wrong and say its a boy when its a girl. (Because the umbilical cord, toes etc get in the way) If they tell you your having a girl, you usually are. ↑ |

| I3itchyI3unny, Please can I see your ultrasound picture to compare it to mines. I'll send you mines as well and you could tell me what you think. Its my first baby so I can't tell what it should look like. I have two different pictures one with the balls and penis and the other with just the penis and no balls.The doctor did say it is a boy . Ive marked on there exactly what is what, so i hope this helps

| they say as i heard if you carry low its a girl if you carry high its a boy my freind is carrying high and she is having a boy i have yet to find out what my little guy legs were crossed at the us , but i am carrying low plus all the other old wives tales point to a girl , my mom also carried low with my sister however me and my brother are twins and she carried higher so who knows LoL it will be fun to see if any of them are correct, but i don't buy intot them complelty. ↑ |

| With both my girls I was wide bellied. With my son I was like a basketball, all in front. My oldest daughter was the same way when she was PG with her babies. With both her boys she was all out front like a basketball. With her girl she was wide. ↑ |

With my son i had a basketball belly. Everyone i know agrees that you get fatter when you have a girl, by fatter i mean you get a little wider and you can tell from the back that it's not gonna be a girl LOL
