i just had a baby girl last month.i haven't been with her father since i found out i was pregnant.but i did get with a guy when i was 3 months along.he has been there though everything, doctor visits, the actual birth and even diapers!but here lately he has been getting drunk and being-well a butt hole.so i broke up with him and now he is coming over and begging my forgiveness.the thing is i have given him enough chances to start over. and i am not sure if i should get back with him if that means my daughter will be growing up around a drunk.help!!

If he has been so ggo dto you and the baby until recently, don't give up...or in. Talk to him, tell him how much you appreciate the role he has played in your daughters life and that you would (if you would) like him to continue to be in her life; However, in order for that to happen he will need to get help with the drinking because you feel it isn't in your daughter's best interest to be raised in a house where there is a lot of drinking. Now the ball is in HIS court, see what he does with...and most importantly, stick by your guns!! Good luck!

Has he been drunk on other occassions? or is this the first he has been this drunk? It sounds like he has been loving and supportive through all of this , but what he is doing is not right or fair to you or your daughter when he is sober , ask him honestly what he is feeling right know and why he is behaving the way he is , perhaps now that the baby is real and here his emotions have changed or he is concerned over something that he doesn't know to express you , tell him exactly how you feel about his drinking that you have your daughter to think of know if after all of this he continues then yes by all means let him go.
