another uestion are energy drinks ok to drink because i got told by somebody your not ment to drink them but with having barly 2 a wek i shouldnt have thought it mattered would it ?

I'd stay away from the energy drinks - they're full of caffeine and additives.

Stick with water, milk, natural juice, tea or diluted High Juice.

The 'let down' reflex during breastfeeding is felt when your baby either begins to cry or when you actually start feeding. It's a strange sensation that's felt in your tummy and feels a bit like butterflies.

i drank energy drinks but thats because i was annemic and so tired all the time they didnt do a thing though i found lemon tea a much better solution and water during the day followed by warm milk or hot chocolate in the evening just to help me wind down and i cant offer much advice on breast feeding i couldt breast feed my eldest coz i didnt produce enough milk and it hurt to much with my second. Anything else though i can help as much as possible.

Any fizzy drink is bad because it contains too much glucose and also artificial sweeteners. Natural drinks are best.

Hi Beth, im from Ireland but just thought id give u a breatfeeding tip. It doesnt hurt for the first few days till about day 6 which is when your milk is fully there. I fed my son from breast for a week then used a pump which doesnt hurt. This also meant that i could ask someone else to help with the feeds and go and rest myself. Good luck with it....

hey i'm 18, my daughter's 3 months now, i'm in australia though. i'll be your friend! my e-mail is [email protected] anyway.

i'm breastfeeding and for the first couple of weeks my nipples got so sore that i was going to stop. if you keep at it though, its worth it i think. theres creams and stuff that helps too.
