my baby was born with coaractation of the aorta, and 3 holes in her heart. she was very ill when we took her in. she was in the hospital for 11/2month. she had the coarc repaired but still has 2 holes in her heart she is know 4 months old and will be having surgery in august to close the hole thats in the muscle part of her heart, it causes her to breath hard and rapid. it;s so much to deal with but you get through one day at a time. please email me if you wanna talk. | Im now 17 and when i was born i had a hole in my heart. At five days old i had open heart surgery. Then i had a pacemaker put in at ten days old. The doctors told my family that i would not make it.....but i prove them wrong, i just turend 17 and i thank god for another year to live. i also thank god for everyday i wake up too. So im still scared i still have to go get a pacemaker and such. its worth it. STAY STRONG..KEEP YOUR HEAD UP HIGH AND SMILE!!! YOU WILL BE OKAY. LOVE YOU ALL. ↑ |
