My 2 yr old daughter was diagnosed with having focal seizures when she was 2 months old. She has been on phenabarbital and is now taking Lamictal to control her seizures. She has many developmental delays. She started crawling at age 2 but does not walk or talk yet. She still drinks from a bottle and does not self feed. She is very social and a very happy baby. We have had cromosome testing done and some blood work and have no answer to why she was born this way. I would like to hear from others with similar stories and know that she may outgrow this and become a "normal" child and eventually catch up developmentally. My email address is [email protected].
