I am new to this forum. I have a 10 year old daughter in 5th grade. (Born a surviving twin at 26 weeks - moderate retardation). She is in a non-severe SDC. I am trying to retain her in the fifth grade and am wondering if anyone has gone down this path. From what I've heard, the school principal almost universally denies all retention requests. I'm sure I have a battle on my hands. Any others out there who have faced this? ↓
