I plan on taking care of my son FOREVER no matter how hard it will be. I am wondering how other mothers do it or have done it? How do I plan for it and how do I get help with accessible housing and vehicle for wheelchair access?

I took care of my daughter for 21 years and trust me when I tell you it is tireing! I finally hired some help about 8 months ago. By hireing some one to help with her it has given me a life back not to say I didnt have one before, it just was'nt a quality one. Takeing care of your child is a wonderful experiance but even the able bodied ones as they grow older are stress full, never mind having to do every thing for them every day until they are grown and beond! I only wish I had done it sooner! I feel I can still help doing what I want to do for her but still have my life as well!
