Have you talked to a family Dr. Or pediatrician about this issue? I also have a 2 yo (girl) and she says a total of mabey 5 words, simple words such as mama, dada, bye bye etc. She is now with a program called Little red school house, they are a program that helps children and their familys with a variety of different things. She has a speech and motor skills therapist that comes and works with her once a week. I have noticed a huge difference since we have had their help, mabey something you would wanna look into. Sign language is also a big help! Also is your child very active with other children?

If any mums in Malaysia are looking for a communication therapy program for their child, I can recommend LEMM International Therapy (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Lemmit ) The link also provides contact info. They are an excellent, home-based service.
