Hello. I work for a nanny agency and have recently been assigned to a family with 3 children, 1 of whom has Down's Syndrome. I was wondering if you had any advice on Down Syndrome? Or, if you were going to have a nanny, what would you want them to do for your special needs child? Thanks!

Treat them like any child! Maintain consistency! Create attainable expectations! Be patient and have fun as with any

I am taking an online class about children with special needs. I have a discussion question that i have to get on a chat room and talk with parents of children with disabilities. I would like to have some input on problems that can occur. Does your child transition into regular classrooms? Do you have a lot of parent support groups? How does your family cope with stress if it occurs? Could you please send me a reply.
