I am wondering if any of you mothers out there that had a baby with down syndrome had polyhydramnios (excess amniotic fluid) as a sign your baby was possibly going to have down syndrome? I am 28 weeks pregnant and have been told I have polyhydramnios . I go back next week for further ultrasound and information. I did not have any of the blood tests or amnio because we will love and care for this child weather he is perfectly healthy or has special needs. BTW this is my fifth child (fourth pregnancy - we adopted one of our children). I would love to hear your stories.
