My sister has a son that was born eight years ago with hydrocephalis (water on the brain). It took him many years to walk and talk. He looks like a regular kid, but he is in special education classes in school. He has many ticks where he sits in front of the TV and rocks every day. He is not very friendly and never smiles. She had him checked out and he is missing a small portion of his brain. Is anyone here have a child similar to this. She often wonders what could have caused this (genetic or something). If this was something that had a name to it like downs, she would know where to go from here, but she often doesn't know how to punish him when he misbehaves (is it his disablility and he can't help it or is he acting out on purpose). So, she lets him get away with everything and he seems spoiled to me. Is there anyone here know what I am talking about?
